Don't Paint Your House Before Reading this:

“4 Things You Absolutely Must Know to Avoid a Disaster in Your Interior Painting Project”

After reading this you will have an fool-proof method to avoid being scammed by painters.

Most homeowners over spend because they don't know:

NOT ALL PAINTS ARE THE SAME!

The paint quality is an essential element for a perfect job.

Choosing the wrong paint could reduce durability by up to 8 years.

A premium paint job will maintain a uniform finish for a minimum of 10 years.

This is due to the quality of the pigments and other elements in the paint formula.

NEVER USE THESE MATERIALS:

Did you know that most painters use low-quality materials to save money and maintain a higher profit margin?

But in the long run it will be more expensive for you because you will have to repair it in 1 or 2 years.

This is an example of using cheap materials, this time due to using a low quality primer bubbles were formed and repairing this wall had an additional cost of 500 dollars.

Tools Also Matter:

If you want your finishes to look smooth and uniform.

The quality of tools also matter…

…When choosing them you must see the quality of the material they are made of.

The Roller Is Everything!

Example: These 2 rollers 👇 look exactly the same but they are not, one of them will leave a smooth and even texture.

The other will leave a heavy, rustic appearance.

If you go back up and look at the texture of the paint you’ll see that it is not uniform because of using a cheaper roller.

Interior Painting is Also an Art:

Having the best paint, the best materials and the best tools is useless if you don't have...

High-Quality Workmanship

If painters don’t know how to prepare the surfaces of your walls, ceilings, trim, doors and windows.  Everything else would be useless.

Technique and preparation is key for premium painting.

"The art of painting is like cooking. Anyone knows how to cook but not everyone knows how to do it well"

All painters will promise you that they are the best and that they use the best but that is where you will apply what you learned here, to know if they are fullfilling every aspect of the job.

Now you can make a more informed decision when choosing a good painter based on:

Paint Quality

Quality of Materials

Tool Quality

High Quality Workmanship

Preparation:

If they know how to do the correct preparation, use the best materials, the best paints and tools, success will be assured.

If they don’t know how to prepare, disasters begins. You may pay a lot of money for high quality paints, materials and tools but if they don’t know how to do a good job it will only be a waste of time and money.

Extra Tip!

Know how to cover the work area: Covering is something very important, most of the time painters “forget” to fully cover key areas of the home.

That’s where disaster begins…

…Drops of paint can fall on very important surfaces such as furniture, floors, etc. The worst thing is that when trying to clean it will damage those surfaces.

Hire the professionals

As an Artistry Painter, he performs top quality work

Hi, My name is Erick and I’m the owner of Artistry painting.

My love for painting is what differentiates me from other painters. That’s why I call it: “Art of painting”, because I make art out of my work.

I always like to speak the truth, and educate my clients. I like to review the surfaces, I explain what needs to be done, the materials, paints and processes to obtain the desired result.

For example…

Real Story Example:

I got a call from a homeowner in Brooklyn, I went to take a look.

When I arrived, he showed me the work that another painter had already done, but he didn’t like it because the finish on the ceilings, walls and moldings was high gloss, that type of finish shows imperfections.

Dull patches and bright patches were visible, compound patches were also visible.

The truth is it was a very commercial job.

Poorly prepared, and poorly painted. He had already paid a lot of money to paint some areas of the house.

There were many patches of compound on walls, ceilings and a very rustic texture.

I explained that to leave a premium quality we had to do a Skim coat and apply excellent quality primer so that the surface would be smooth.  (Skim coat means a thin layer of compound on the entire surfaces)

But he said that he will only try to improve by applying other layers of paint, because he had already spent a lot of money with the other painter and that for the rest of the house we should do the correct process.

(He had spent way too much because the painter told him to buy too much extra paint.)

After seeing the work, asking him what quality he wanted, I told him we had to do a preparatory job with excellent materials, I also explained the quality of paint and rollers that we need to use, I even explained the techniques that we need to use to leave a premium quality.

My commitment is to over deliver

Next, I'll show you what a poorly prepared and poorly painted job looks like.

As you can see below some small bubbles formed due to the bad primer they used, you can also see the rustic texture due to using an inappropriate roller and low quality paint.

I ask him to show me the materials, paints, and primers to see if we could use them.

That is when I explained  that they had used the wrong paints, the wrong materials, tools, and terrible workmanship.

We Changed Everything!

We did an excellent prep job with the right materials, quality paint, quality tools, and when we applied the correct techniques the result was premium quality.
